According to Boston Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli, center Marc Savard has been diagnosed with a grade two concussion. Savard flew back to Boston following the 2-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and was evaluated by team doctors. No time table has been set for his return.

The Celtics began the 2nd half with a 95-92 win over the Sacramento Kings in ARCO Arena. Paul Pierce and Rasheed Wallace each scored a team-high 17 points. Ray Allen (15) and Eddie House (12) also scored in double-figures.
Kings rookie Tyreke Evans finished with 17 points 11 rebounds and 7 assists in the loss. Omri Casspi had a game-high 19.
The C’s continue their road trip Thursday night against the Lakers.
